What Local Cut Guide is
Local Cut Guide is a free directory that helps you find and compare local meat and eggs. We do not sell anything, take orders, or handle payments. Every purchase is between you and the seller.
Prices and listings
Prices are copied from public seller pages and shown with their source and the date we checked them. Sellers can change prices, sizes, and availability at any time, so a listed price may be out of date. Estimates, such as cost per pound of finished meat, use stated assumptions and are for comparison only. Always confirm the price and terms with the seller before you pay or put down a deposit.
We try to keep listings accurate, but we cannot promise that every detail is correct or current, and we do not vouch for any seller, product, or practice. Tell us about a wrong price with the report link on the seller's page.
Your account
Sign in is through CorroborateMe. Keep your login secure, and use the site only for yourself or a business you are authorized to represent.
What you post
Reviews, price reports, and other things you send must be honest and based on your own experience. Do not post anything false, abusive, or private about someone else. Admins review submissions and may decline or remove any of them. By posting, you let us show your submission on the site.
Sellers
Only the business owner, or someone they authorize, may claim a listing. Information you add to your listing must be accurate. Seller API keys are for your own listing only; keep them secret. We may revoke a claim or API key that is misused.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload, or get around the site's security or rate limits, or scrape it in a way that harms the service.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Local Cut Guide is not liable for losses that come from relying on a listing or from dealing with a seller.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For questions, use the Suggest a seller form (it goes to our admins): enter "Account request" as the seller name, say what you want in the note, and give the email you sign in with.
